Epicenter Helsinki is an international digital innovation community, located in the heart of Helsinki. We bring together fast-growing scaleups, corporate teams and entrepreneurs, with the purpose to innovate and grow their businesses. We are doing this by organizing 150+ activities and events that include thought leader sessions, master classes, hackathons, and growth programs, in addition to running the most creative and innovative workspace in Helsinki. Epicenter is the heart of the entrepreneurial scene in the Nordics with two more houses in Stockholm and Oslo, and partner houses in Kairo and Cape Town.

What are we looking for?

• An enthusiastic individual with a couple of years of experience in the Finance field, either in controlling or finance, ready to take on some more responsibility.
• Well documented experience in bookkeeping and accounting. We believe you have an accurate and structured work style, combined with a strong will to succeed in your role.
• Driven entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to build and develop the business as if it was your own.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and co-operate with the team to execute in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred background is ideally in the fields of finance in a start-up, or a similar fast-growing environment.
• Fluency in English and Finnish, both verbal and written with strong communication skills
• Prior knowledge of NetSuite ERP system is considered a bonus.

Your responsibilities

• Bookkeeping from A-Z, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
• Supporting the Country Manager with analyses regarding the business in a pro-active way as well as taking an active part in board meetings.
• Work closely with other Finance Managers (Stockholm and Oslo) that run local operations as well as Group CFO.
• Yearly budget and forecast processes, as well as month end closing reports.
• Monthly sales and financial reporting to Board of Directors and real estate partners.
• Responsible for yearly audit process, with external support.
• Reports to Country Manager
